Yesterday I was marching up the Perth Road and these flowers slowed me right down.

I didn't actually stop to smell them 🤭 but I paused enough to enjoy them and it made me realise how much I had been on auto pilot going from A to B.

I love going for a walk in the day to break up my sitting down but this reminded me to try and take more notice of my surroundings when I do so 🙂

Do you wear a swim cap when you swim?

I confess it is not to make me more streamlined but instead to protect my purple hair!

It probably dis make me look like I was take the swim quite seriously 🤣

Last night I just wanted to go for a swim - so I did 🥰

I joined the club at uni for a year - I couldnt make 99% of the training sessions but I did join others with the club for the Monike sprint tri!

I never thought I'd be the person to do a triathlon - I thought you had to eb an Olympic athlete but after a few years of doing each component individually I realised I would be able to get round.

Getting round and finishing is what it is about for me - not being on a podium but getting a medal (and/or goodie bag) and being proud of what my body can achieve.

So if you want to move more and are secretly harbouring a desire to walk/run/swim/cycle then I understand 😎

Nothing like a change of scenery and Crombie is just 12 miles from the centre of Dundee 😍

Monike will always have a place in my heart because of the half marathon and sprint triathlons there 🥳

Less than 10 miles from Dundee is Balmerino Abbey and if you keep walking down the hill you'll reach the Fife Coastal Path - have you ever walked part (or all) of this 187km route?

Torrential rain was not enough to stop my ladies showing up for themselves last night and coming to class ⛈️

Last night we had a J.LO themed workout - message me if you want to know more 🎤

Then we had a nice stretch and relaxation - we have both of these elements every week 🧘‍♀️
