Diet Soft Drinks must be better for us than Regular Soft Drinks, they have no calories?
NO! Here's why...
Diet : 0 calories per 330ml
Regular : 140 calories per 330ml
Diet soft drinks contain artificial sweeteners and preservatives that CAN'T be processed by the human body. When they process through the Small Intestine, they flatten all of the Villi, tiny hairs that absorb 75% of all nutrients from your food. This means that food goes into your Large Intestine / Colon undigested, leading to diseases such as IBS and Toxemia. Some Soft Drinks even contain Formaldehyde which is used to preserve dead bodies!
It can also contribute to Diabetes Type 2 as the sweetness spikes insulin which over a long period of time can become less efficient and also have an effect when eating real sugars. At least Regular soft drinks have calories your body can utilize as energy where as Diet, realistically you're putting something DEAD into your body.
