"Just live a little, you deserve it."

What's the harm?

For someone struggling with their weight, hearing this over and over can do more harm than good.

Not because one meal ruins progress.

But because it encourages people to keep putting their goals on hold just to fit in.

At the end of the day, it's your choice what you eat.

But if your current lifestyle has led to weight gain, constantly eating beyond your needs isn't going to move you forward.

You don't need to earn food.
You don't need to justify every indulgence.
You need habits that support the goals you say you want.

Eat according to your goals, not according to pressure from other people.

Stop asking, "Do I deserve this?"

Start asking, "Will this move me closer to the person I'm trying to become?"

How many times have you heard someone say "live a little" when you're trying to make progress?

Let me know in the comments.

A lot of people don't train hard enough to get the results they want.

For muscle growth, most of your working sets should be taken to failure or very close to it.

If you're finishing sets with 5-6 reps left in the tank, guess what you are likely leaving gains on the table.

If you are low volume training.

You need to push the intensity ,most sets should be taken to failure or within 1-2 reps of it.

If you are higher-volume training.

You can leave a few more reps in reserve, but around 3-4 reps in the tank is generally the upper limit if muscle growth is the goal.

If you're serious about building muscle, pick a training style, apply progressive overload, and train with intent every session.

Train hard. Train consistently. Get results.

A lot of people focus on the weight they've lost.

I focus on the habits I've gained.

Because walking past this aisle used to be one of the hardest things I had to do.

Now it's just another aisle.

Spinning a kettlebell around your waist will do absolutely nothing for building your abs/ core stick to the basics such as 👇

- Sit ups
- Hanging knee raises
- Crunches
- Russian Twist
- Plank

Most importantly if you want to see your abs, you need a calorie deficit to reduce body fat to reveal them.

Start focusing on what actually works and get better at it and don't fall for any fads/ trends.
