"Just live a little, you deserve it."
What's the harm?
For someone struggling with their weight, hearing this over and over can do more harm than good.
Not because one meal ruins progress.
But because it encourages people to keep putting their goals on hold just to fit in.
At the end of the day, it's your choice what you eat.
But if your current lifestyle has led to weight gain, constantly eating beyond your needs isn't going to move you forward.
You don't need to earn food.
You don't need to justify every indulgence.
You need habits that support the goals you say you want.
Eat according to your goals, not according to pressure from other people.
Stop asking, "Do I deserve this?"
Start asking, "Will this move me closer to the person I'm trying to become?"
How many times have you heard someone say "live a little" when you're trying to make progress?
