Feeling prepared, feeling good… and feeling a little smug 😏

Today’s breakfast, lunch and snacks are sorted. Made enough for 3 days before work this morning, so future me is already winning.

The Nourish app is honestly on point. Easy, delicious, and it takes the “what am I eating?” drama right out of the day.

I’m down 600g in 3 days, which is a pretty nice little start 👀

A lot of people think their back, legs, or strength are the issue during lifts…

But sometimes it’s your grip giving out first.

And when that happens, you’re limiting how much you can actually get out of your training.

The good news? Grip strength can be trained just like anything else.

Dead hangs, farmer’s carries, plate pinches, and hook grip work are simple additions that can make a big difference over time, especially in movements like deadlifts, rows, pull-ups, and carries.

Small adjustments. Better control. Stronger lifts.

Thank you to all the incredible mums, grandmas, soon-to-be mums, and mother figures who are part of our Studio X community 💛

Yesterday was all about bringing people together.

Families training side by side, kids jumping in, good laughs, good music, a BBQ after class, and recovery to finish things off right.

It wasn’t about fitness levels or experience.
It was about moving together and celebrating the people around us.

To the mums who continue to show up for everyone around them while still making time for themselves, WE SEE YOU.

Thank you for being such a big part of this community.
