Some challenges are about the distance. Others are about what they reveal.
21km was a goal I set for myself, but the biggest takeaway from the day had nothing to do with running.
It was seeing our people show up.
Friends, members, whānau — giving up their own time to walk beside me, run beside me, check in, and be part of something they didn’t have to be part of. Nobody was asked. Nobody was expected to. They just did.
Moments like this remind me what The Movement has always been about. It’s never only been a gym. It’s a community built on connection, support, and showing up for each other when it matters.
The kilometres will eventually fade, but the feeling of looking around and seeing so many people there beside me won’t.
21km was completed, but more importantly, it was completed together.
This day was a reminder of something pretty special: when one person takes on a challenge, our whole whānau gets behind them. ❤️

A note from Reizl & Tony:
Firstly, thank you to every person who followed The Movement page and helped get Pep over the line. Every follow counted and every follow meant more kilometres.
Secondly, a massive thank you to Pep for being such a good sport and letting us put her through the absolute wringer. What started as a fun challenge became a pretty cool reminder of what this community is all about.
The 21km was Pep’s challenge, but seeing so many people show up to walk, run, cheer, support and tautoko her along the way was the real highlight.
And that pretty much sums up The Movement 🧡
