JitterFit

JitterFit JitterFit is about helping others on their fitness journey & provides fitness sessions in Hamilton to women, men and kids.

Every Monday night we have a Cardio/Conditioning Session at Horsham Downs and also offer Outdoor, AquaFit and PT sessions. JitterFit is an adults exercise class held on a Monday night at Rototuna Junior High at 7.10pm during term time. The class consists of cardio (a bit of aerobics, line work, running/drills etc) and conditioning work (bums, tums, thighs and arm work). The beauty about this class

is you get a variety of classes packed into the one - boxing, running, circuit work, conditioning work, dance moves, core strengthening, aerobics, swiss ball work, band work and more! The class caters for varying levels of fitness and abilities. Some weeks require the use of a swiss ball and we also use bands, slam balls, skipping ropes and other pieces of equipment for variety some weeks. You will need a swiss ball to attend this session and these can be purchased for as little as $10. Cost for the term is around $100 (depending on the length of the term). Due to demand I sometimes offer additional sessions over the holidays and bootcamp sessions held outside. You will need to bring a towel, drink bottle and good comfortable shoes to each session. A mat is optional, but recommended as the floor can be quite hard. I have been teaching aerobics for over 22 years and currently also teach at the UniRec Centre in Hamilton East two days a week along with teaching 185 children at my dance school Jitterbugs Dance Lessons. I believe in eating whole/unprocessed foods at least 80-90% of the time, exercising at least 3 times a week, getting a good nights sleep, feeling happy and good about yourself and making sure you take time out to relax/breathe.

The weather hasn’t been the best the last couple of evenings, but that hasn’t stopped this lot from coming out for their exercise! Pilates Wednesday night and our strength session tonight. Well done 👏👏

Cold, windy and wet day here. Had planned to go for a walk - but changed my mind when I stepped outside 🥶 I had taken my step home so improvised some step moves on the floor for 10 mins to warm up followed by a 30 min pump session with the bar 🏋️ I was thinking maybe I could integrate a couple of the step moves into Monday night as they work fine without a step. I know half would love it and half wouldn’t 🤣🤣

What exercise are you doing this weekend? Remember I have it covered for tomorrow 🤸‍♀️🤸

So much goodness to start my day - everyday 🥦🥕🍌🫐🥬 Before 9 I have already had 6 different veges, a little serving of fruit, good dose of protein, collagen, creatine and water!

My only flaw today was I put them in the wrong order and I am at the Bach so I am not using the most powerful smoothie maker 🤦‍♀️ Always put powders in near the end otherwise they stick to the bottom 🤦‍♀️

Super work on Monday night with the balls 🏀 Anyone feel their quads yesterday or today?

There were lots away this week - hopefully you can replace missing the session with some exercise on another day this week. We have Pilates this evening or an outdoor session tomorrow night if you want to join us.

Such an amazing session at the gym this morning teaching STUMP. We did all the stepping at the start today including a harder combo with some different moves and they nailed it. Such an amazing bunch of steppers these ladies 💕

Just a reminder we have Pilates tomorrow night. We are going to include some massage for our hands, feet and butts! Bring a tennis ball, lacrosse ball or something similar. We still have spaces if anyone is keen to join us. 7.00pm at my house in Flagstaff. Cost $15 for a one off session or join more for a cheaper rate. Can't wait!
