9 months. Real results. No quick fixes.

Lisa came to me in July 2025 wanting to lose weight and feel confident again. I built a sustainable fitness plan combining strength, core & cardio along with a bespoke nutrition plan.

Lisa committed to:

▪️ 1:1 PT weekly

▪️ Bodyweight HIIT classes

▪️ Extra cycling

▪️ Consistency

This was done in a controlled, gradual way to ensure the weight stays off.

By the start of this year:

As an experienced personal trainer and running coach, I’ve always programmed more than just strength and mileage. Mobility work, structured stretching, and elements of yoga-based movement have consistently been part of both my clients’ sessions and my own training. But I’ve decided to take that further by pursuing a diploma in yoga teaching, so I can apply it with greater depth, precision, and evidence-based understanding.

The rationale is clear.

Strength training preserves muscle mass and joint stability. Running develops cardiovascular efficiency and mitochondrial health. But without intentional mobility and nervous system regulation, performance has limits. As we age, collagen stiffness increases, recovery slows, and chronic stress elevates cortisol and systemic inflammation. Structured flexibility work improves range of motion and tissue resilience, while breath-led movement enhances parasympathetic activation; supporting recovery, heart rate variability, and mental clarity.

Research continues to show that combining resistance training, cardiovascular conditioning, and mindfulness-based movement produces better long-term outcomes for physical function, injury prevention, and stress regulation than any single modality alone.

I’ve always believed in training the whole system. This qualification simply strengthens my ability to deliver it. So my clients can move well, recover properly, and stay strong for life.
