Closing in on a year with my client Vicky🥹💕

Our journey together started in April 2025 but these pictures are 10 months apart from June to now and I think the transformation speaks for itself👏🏼

It hasn’t been the smoothest ride but when she said 2026 was a fresh start, did she mean it🌟

We’re now a whole 10kg down and we aren’t finished yet😎

In a great spot with so much room left to push if needed but final few weeks of this phase before we wrap up this stint of dieting⚡️

I’ve seen a huge shift in Vicky in the last couple of months and it shows in her results. Even amongst everything and working a stressful job she always checks in on time, communicates and asks questions which is the foundation to a successful coaching journey🤝🏼

Wait what?👀

Let me explain👇🏼

I can almost guarantee you that your metabolism isn’t broken, your hormones are fine and your gut health isn’t the issue

Food is MORE than calories

Its mood, performance, recovery, enjoyment, health, memories and more

Just because iT fItS yOuR mAcRoS doesn’t mean its serving you a purpose of regular basis

Food has no label, sure some things are of ‘better’ nutritional value but everything has a place, just in different quantities/frequencies depending on your goal

When I stopped focusing on fitting as many ‘fun’ foods into my day as possible which led to little quality & quantity and started to focus on how things made me feel, my adherence improved and I finally started making the progress I *thought* I was working so hard to achieve before

Compromise isn’t restriction, it’s a temporary measure

Dieting is not a lifestyle and the sooner you commit, the sooner you can introduce more flexibility again

The odd coffee & cake out won’t hinder your progress but trying to track a 400 calorie muffin into your day 1700 target multiple times a week probably will

You’re not struggling to lose weight because you’re eating too little calories, you’re not enough enough FOOD and letting everything else slip through

It’s only a big deal if you make it into one x

I’m a firm believer that you don’t work your a$$ off all year to go on holiday to do the same sh*t you do at home (unless you go to Ibiza 6 weeks into your bodybuilding prep like me hahahaha)

I also don’t want to spend my entire holiday feeling like sh*t because i’ve overindulged for the sake of it because my routine is looming at home

I train, eat well and look after my health most of the time because it makes me feel good

I don’t go into f**k it mode when I go away because I dread what i’m coming back to

I also know taking a bit of time away from my usual routine will have no lasting impact on me because I am consistent for the most part

Do you know what will stay with me though? The damn memories I make

Once upon a time being busy led me to completely neglect myself

Whether its in work or life over the next few weeks, remember its an absolute privilege and not a reason to neglect what makes you feel good

After years stuck spinning round in the same vicious cycle and finally, I feel free

For the first time in my life i’m not starting 2026 with any resolutions to change, promising myself its the final time only for time to repeat itself

Right now, I only want to continue improving from where i’m at

I’m not fearful of what the next few weeks bring and how they will set me back in my journey

Actually, i’m just excited to spend time with the people around me, make memories and enjoy some good food

Its totally okay to admit you’re struggling and reach out with help rather than continue trying to tackle the same situations alone

I didn’t necessarily lack knowledge but I did lose faith in myself

After 1 too many failed promises, I didn’t trust my decisions and couldn’t rely on me anymore

All I really needed was someone to call me out, offer accountability, guidance and structure amongst the chaos in my brain

…and i’m pretty happy with how thats worked out👯‍♀️🩷

The only thing I will be managing on Christmas Day is myself out of the sofa to the kitchen

Yes you’re busy, everyone is

You might not lose 5kg or gain 10lbs of muscle this month but you will have a f*cking good time and make some precious memories with your family & friends

You can also have fun without being an absolute d*ck because i’m sure you don’t actually enjoy feeling like sh*t

There are 27 days left in December and I sure as hell won’t be going into another New Year thinking shoulda, woulda, coulda (but I don’t have to worry about that because my fitness journey is no longer a stop start cycle🙂)

You still have a life outside of your goals and they’re meant to enhance it, not take over it - make the best choice for you and remember you don’t have to sack everything off because you’ve got a few more plans than normal

You didn’t make this progress in a couple of weeks and you probably won’t undo it in that time either 🫶🏻

Focus on the task in hand and let everything else run it’s course

Ever let your scale weight ruin your entire day or even change your approach just for it to come back down the following day?

Suprise, it does that

Pretty often too

That’s also another benefit to having a coach & this isn’t me finding a gap to plug my services

It’s a case of been there, done that, probably would be still be stuck in a vicious cycle of staying the same or going backwards if I didn’t have my coach in my corner either

It’s exhausting and you’re wasting time that could be used getting you closer to where you want to be

It’ll never be 📈📈 or 📉📉

You’ll hit plateaus
Your weight will spike sometimes
You’ll probably have quite a few slower weeks

Victory isn’t just associated with ‘new lows’

Meals I currently have on repeat because food is so much more than just calories❗️

Its health, performance, recovery and enjoyment too!

Cosy season = comforting meals

I tend to pretty much eat the same meals day to day, sometimes branching out on the weekends when I have more time or macro tracking swaps in my meal plan if I fancy something else🤝🏼

One thing always remains the same: the quality✅

Your nutrition is one of the key foundations of your fitness journey supporting your mood, energy, recovery and training - ultimately dictating a large part of the progress you make towards your goals and physique🤷🏼‍♀️

Aligning my nutrition with exactly what I wanted to achieve is the one thing thats never failed me after years of finding myself spinning around the same circles🎯

Now:

👉🏼 I eat meals that I enjoy every day
👉🏼 I ensure I have a good variety of fruits and veggies across the day
👉🏼 I focus on predominantly nutrient dense whole foods
👉🏼 I keep them simple but tasty utilising different sauces & seasonings which limits decision fatigue and food focus
👉🏼 I don’t struggle with my digestion and feeling sluggish
👉🏼 I ensure I don’t use being in a surplus as an opportunity to be a d*ck like I used to🤪

I also enjoy meals out, pastries, cookies and everything else too because I know what I do the majority of the time matters most. Sometimes it really is about memories > macros but I never find getting back ‘on plan’ a chore. Theres no guilt or need to compensate because this is what my ‘majority’ looks like

As I always say, your basics of your nutrition generally don’t need to change to suit the phase you’re in. I’ve just reversed out of a bodybuilding prep and my goal is to grow which means meals are bigger now but I also ate the same foods the whole way through my prep too, just in smaller quanities without the extra’s…but dieting isn’t a lifestyle😛

I also tend to only take pictures when my meals look somewhat presentable but I can assure you 90% of the time this is meal prepped & in tupperware🤣

2 years summed up in a few slides🥹

I quite literally don’t recognise the person I was this time 24 months ago…to be honest I can hardly even relate to the person I was at the start of prep this year

If theres one thing you can tell from these images - its that i’ve never been one to handle coming out of a diet particularly well

With time comes experience and although 2024 taught me a lot, I also learnt about what I would do differently this time around

I was nervous at the thought of prep coming to an end, albeit confident in my abilities, but boy have I surpassed every single one of my expections

My mindset, behaviour and actions are completely aligned with the person, athlete and coach I want to be

4 weeks post show this weekend and 1.9kg up on average with a weeks all inclusive holiday in there too & food currently the highest it has ever been

2025 has been a pivotal point for me and I know the 2 years that follow this are going to be the best yet

I’m aware I did all of this & I have worked really fkin hard but without Emma by my side i’m confident none of it would’ve been possible. Words will never be able to explain how grateful I truly am for her

Ready to lock into off season in the new few weeks and blow this look out of the water

Strap in bestie. 2027 we’re bringing it x
