The 5 nutrition hacks we wish more people knew…
1. Fill your plate 🍽️
Eating the same foods but less of them to lose fat makes no sense — it just makes you hungrier and keeps food on your mind all day. Instead, eat more, but better. Double up on protein, pack in fibre through vegetables, and prioritise complex, starchy carbs. Make your plate bigger with the right stuff.
2. Prioritise protein 🍗
Protein should be the first thing you think about with any meal — what source, and how much. It builds muscle, keeps you fuller for longer, and takes more energy to digest than anything else. It has to be a priority. Side note: eat it first in your meal too.
3. Identify and replace poor snacking habits ❌
Most people’s main meals aren’t the problem — it’s what happens in between. The afternoon snack. The late-night binge. Any time your brain tells you it needs something it doesn’t. Enjoying the foods you love in moderation is fine, but when a craving’s off-plan, look at what’s actually triggering it. Bored or stressed? Deal with that, instead of heading back to the snack drawer.
4. Drink more water 💧
Enough water keeps you fuller, sharper, and less likely to feel tired or low from dehydration.
5. Be prepared 👨🍳
Knowing what you’re eating and when makes a huge difference. Most bad decisions happen when you’re tired, hungry, and staring into an empty fridge trying to decide what’s for dinner. You don’t need every meal planned — just get the bulk of your week sorted, and the rest takes care of itself.
