There will be no class now until Saturday 27th June, so enjoy your two weeks off.

☀️ TRAINING IN THE HEAT? DON’T FORGET THE BASICS ☀️

When the weather heats up, your body has to work even harder during training. Sweating more means losing more fluids and electrolytes, and if you don’t replace them properly it can affect performance, recovery, energy levels and even make you feel unwell.

A few simple ways to stay hydrated and train smarter in the heat 👇

💧 Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink
💧 Sip water consistently throughout the day
💧 Add electrolytes if you’re sweating heavily or training for long periods
💧 Eat water-rich foods like watermelon, cucumber, strawberries and oranges
💧 Train earlier or later in the day where possible
💧 Wear lightweight breathable clothing
💧 Take longer rest periods if needed
💧 Listen to your body - dizziness, headaches and nausea are signs to slow down

Remember, not every session has to be all-out. Adjusting your training in hot weather isn’t weakness, it’s smart. Consistency beats burning yourself out. 🔥💪
