You walk into the gym and suddenly feel like everyone is looking at you.
What you're wearing.
How you look.
Whether you actually look like you belong there.
Maybe everyone else seems more confident, more experienced, or more "gym-like" than you.
So instead of focusing on your workout, you're worrying about whether you're doing the right thing, wearing the right clothes, or looking the part.
But here's the thing:
You don't need to look like you belong in the gym to belong in the gym.
You don't need the perfect body.
You don't need the latest gym clothes.
You don't need to lift heavy.
You don't even need to know exactly what you're doing.
You just need to turn up.
Fitness should help you feel more comfortable in your own skin, not make you feel like you need to change who you are before you're allowed to belong.
This is the kind of thing I talk about every day.
