Brain cancer receives a fraction of cancer funding, and every single step we take together helps raise vital funds, awareness, and support for families who need it most.

Stop training for a six-pack and start training for a body that actually supports you! 🌿💪

True core strength is about so much more than a visible six-pack; it is the structural bridge that transfers power between your upper and lower body. A functional, resilient midsection supports your spine, improves your daily posture, and acts as your body's primary defense against injury, allowing you to move with total confidence as you age.

The Trifecta for Obliques:

1️⃣ Heel Taps
The foundation for deep stability and spinal control. Lie flat on your back, press your spine gently into the mat, and lower one heel to touch the floor with control. Slowing the movement down forces your lower abs to brace without straining your neck or lower back.

2️⃣ Windshield Wipers
The ultimate test for rotational control and hip stability. Keep your upper back firmly grounded as you guide your legs side-to-side in a smooth, controlled arc. Controlling the drop keeps your trunk braced, strengthening the muscles that protect your lower back when twisting.

3️⃣ Side oblique crunch
The key to side-body strength and upright posture. Stand tall with a kettlebell in one hand, keeping your core braced and feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly lower the weight down your side by bending at the waist, then engage your obliques to pull your torso back up into a fully upright position. Focus on a controlled squeeze between your hip and ribs while avoiding any sudden, jerky movements to ensure your midsection stays under constant tension.

Let’s be real: not every session in the gym feels like a breakthrough.

Some days, you will feel like a superhero and some days the weights feel twice as heavy, your legs feel like lead, and every single rep feels like an uphill battle. But those tough, messy, less-than-perfect sessions? Those are the ones that build true resilience. Look at it this way... 25% of your workouts will be fantastic, 50% will just be you getting it done and 25% might absolutely suck. But an average training session is still better than doing nothing at all.

Progress isn't defined by how easy a workout feels. it’s defined by showing up anyway and giving whatever you have in the tank that day. Every tough rep is building a stronger, more capable version of you for life outside these walls.

You don't need a perfect session to make progress. You just need to keep showing up.

Want to train your quads in your next workout? Here are three exercises that will leave your quads feeling nice and spicy 🌶️

Lower body strength is about so much more than lifting heavy. It is the physical foundation that carries you through every single day. Functional, resilient legs protect your knees, stabilise your hips, and give you the stamina to power through long work days, staircases, and weekend activities without constant fatigue.

1️⃣ Walking Lunges
The key to single-leg balance and joint protection. Step forward with intention, keeping your chest tall and lowering your back knee toward the floor. Training one leg at a time eliminates strength imbalances, builds rock-solid hip stability, and makes climbing stairs or stepping up completely effortless.

2️⃣ Sled Pulls
The ultimate move for quad strength without joint stress. Walk backward with a steady, powerful rhythm, driving through your toes with every step. Pulling the sled pumps blood directly into your knees and quads, building functional strength that protects your joints—all with zero strain on your lower back.

3️⃣ Squat Pulses
The secret to building muscle stamina and lower-body control. Drop into a solid squat, rise up just an inch or two, and sink back down in a smooth, continuous rhythm.
