🕊️ In Loving Memory of Dawn Lewin 🕊️

It is with great sadness that Bacchus Marsh Netball Association shares the passing of one of our most treasured and dedicated members, Dawn Lewin.

Dawn's journey with BMNA began in 1970, when she first became involved in our netball community. In 1977, she took on the official role of Treasurer, a position she held with incredible dedication until her retirement in 2021.

An extraordinary 44 years of volunteer service as Treasurer.

Dawn's commitment to BMNA was nothing short of remarkable. For more than five decades, she was part of the heart and soul of our Association, generously giving her time, knowledge and passion to support the sport and the community she loved.

The Association we know today has been shaped by the dedication of volunteers like Dawn, whose contributions have helped provide opportunities for generations of netballers in Bacchus Marsh.

Dawn's legacy will forever remain part of BMNA. In recognition of her outstanding contribution, our Firetails Best & Fairest Medal proudly bears her name — the Dawn Lewin Medal — ensuring her dedication to our Association continues to be recognised and celebrated for generations to come.

On behalf of the BMNA Committee, our players, officials, volunteers and wider netball community, we extend our deepest condolences to Dawn's family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thank you, Dawn, for everything you gave to our Association. Your dedication, generosity and legacy will never be forgotten. ❤️

Rest in peace, Dawn. 🕊️
