Golden milk has long been enjoyed for its warming qualities, and treasured for its many health benefits - including helping to reduce inflammation and bloating, supporting healthy digestion, immune function and restful sleep. Welcome in natures pharmacy with this delicious elixir. RECIPE 1 cup milk, dairy or plant based, full fat if possible. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
A pinch of black pepper * plus any of the following 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp cardamom 1/4 tsp ginger powdered * a pinch of nutmeg to assists a restful sleep * a touch more ginger and pepper in the morning to aid digestion and immune function * fennel and cardamom to assist digestion and calm the stomach ✨ gently warming the spices in 1/2 tsp of ghee then adding milk and bringing to desired temperature will assist the body in taking up the medicinal qualities of the spices. ✨ dried spices can be added to milk and warmed to desired temperature (without toasting in ghee).
