Well done to all our members that took part in this past weekend! We had some great results and a lot of top 10 finishes across all categories! We are extremely proud of each and every one of you. Some were pushed way past their comfort zone and absolutely smashed it.

Now we build towards August! There’s going to be a big wave of Roark members on the competition floor and we can’t wait to see you there.

Wow, 14 years. It feels like just yesterday we were opening our doors and welcoming our first members into a space where we could all push our limits, break down barriers, and, most importantly, build a community that truly cares for one another. As I reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together, I am filled with gratitude and awe.

It’s hard to put into words how much this gym means to me, but I’ll start with this: it’s all of you. Our members. Our community. At the heart of everything we do is our community. From day one, we set out to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and motivated. Whether you’re here for your first workout or you’ve been with us for 14 years (yes we do have members that’ve been with us from day 1) you’re never alone. Every high five, every encouraging word, and every shared experience helps us all become better versions of ourselves, not just in the gym, but in every aspect of life. Each of you has played an irreplaceable role in making this gym what it is today.
Building Better Humans isn’t just a slogan. It’s what we’ve watched happen for 14 years. Stronger bodies, yes… but more than that — stronger minds, stronger character, and a community that actually cares.

I also want to take a moment to honor the coaches who’ve been a part of this journey. To every coach who’s ever stood in front of a class, guided us through workouts, and shown up with passion and dedication, thank you. Your impact on our gym and community is immeasurable, and your influence continues to shape the lives of our members.

As we celebrate 14 years, I’m also looking ahead. The future is bright, and I’m filled with hope for what’s to come. The world may continue to change, but our mission remains steadfast: to continue helping build better humans. Let’s approach this new year with the same commitment, resilience, and community spirit that has gotten us this far. Together, we can take on whatever challenges come our way and keep growing stronger.

At Roark, our goal is to create training environments where people feel confident, focused, and supported. That’s why we offer separate training spaces for men and women—under one roof, with the same high standards, expert coaching, and shared values.

This choice isn’t about division; it’s about providing the best possible experience. Separate spaces allow us to better tailor coaching and programming, create a more focused atmosphere, and help members train without intimidation or comparison—especially those new to the gym.
