From new flagsticks, tees, and the incredible Sugar Shack comfort station to an array of merchandise featuring our new Flying Cow logo that has quickly become a fan favorite, thereā€™s something for everyone!

Wednesday was a thrilling day for SCC, as our Celebration event marking the completion of our 18-hole course redesign ushered in a new chapter of golf in our region, highlighted by the participation of the incredible leaders at šŸ™Œ

Introducing Hole 18 at Stowe Country Club ā€“ with Course Architect Beau Welling.

Hole Eighteen features strategically aligned tee boxes aimed down the center line of play, presenting golfers with a key decision: lay up for a full club approach or challenge the hole with a longer tee shot for a pitch into the green. The ā€œLionā€™s Mouthā€ green includes a short center bunker, with flared front-left and front-right fold offs, adding strategic interest from every angle. Elevated and pushed back towards the clubhouse, the green is protected on the back and left by the largest and most dramatic bunkers on the property, making for a memorable finishing hole. This newly designed green complex is the largest on the course, offering a wide variety of pin placements to cap off the round.

Introducing Hole 17 at Stowe Country Club ā€“ with Course Architect Beau Welling.

Hole Seventeen (formerly fifteen) now connects seamlessly from sixteenā€™s green with bentgrass linking to the new tees, offering a massive 238-yard tee shot from the back. The expanded tee complex provides a wide range of options for all skill levels and yardage options for multi day events. A subtle ridge on the approach of this ā€œBiarritzā€ style green allows shots played short to roll naturally to the front, adding strategic nuance and options. As the only hole on the back nine without a bunker, it mirrors the classic simplicity of the fifth hole on the front, with a traditional, beautifully shaped green that rewards precise play.
