Something a little different this year!

I’m going Formula Ford racing!

Introducing my 2026/27 ML Racing Formula Ford!

After many years of racing in different categories, I’m excited to be taking on a whole new challenge and making the step into open wheel racing!

A massive thank you to the many people, sponsors and supporters who have helped make this campaign possible. There’s been a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes, and I certainly wouldn’t be here without you all!

I’m looking forward to getting stuck in, learning plenty and seeing what I can achieve this season!

Unfortunately, our South Island Endurance Series campaign has come to a premature end.

The mechanical issues we experienced during qualifying at Round 2 have now been traced back to the gearbox. With the team at Paddon Racing Group unable to source the necessary parts in time, we’ve made the difficult decision to withdraw from this weekend’s final round at Teretonga.

A disappointing way to finish the season, especially after showing incredible pace at Round 1 and promising speed again during practice at Round 2.

A massive thank you to everyone for their hard work, along with our sponsors and supporters for their continued support.

A little bit of an annoying start and finish to Round 2 of the South Island Endurance Series

Unfortunately, we’ve had a mechanical fault with the car, so we’ve pulled out of the event.

Not the way we wanted the weekend to go… but I’m now sitting at McDonald’s having pancakes, so it’s not all bad 😂🥞

South Island Endurance Series comes to Euromarque Motorsport Park / Ruapuna Raceway this Friday and Saturday.

Great mix of amazing race cars from factory built exotic GT cars to kiwi built specials.
Some of the fastest racers in the country battling it out for the titles.

Friday - Test Sessions 9-5
Saturday - Qualifying starts 9am, races from 10:40

Spectator tickets - Pay at the gate
Friday - $10 (or buy a Saturday pass and get in both days for $20)
Saturday - $20
Bring the kids under 16 for free.
Heaps of space to park trackside or grab a spot on the many viewing banks.
Food & drink available in the pits.
You're welcome to come have a look around the pits please pit garages and pit lane are for teams only.
Vehicles have right of way at all times, keep your eyes open & keep young kids in hand.
No dogs.

Round 1 Recap South Island Endurance Series brought to you by Arron Cox - Bayleys Nelson & Tasman

Friday was all about getting back up to speed in the Tyreworld Richmond BMW Z4. I hadn’t been in the car for quite a while, so we ended up doing a few more laps than originally planned, but the extra seat time was definitely needed. By the end of the day I was feeling comfortable in the car again and ready for Saturday.

Saturday morning started with qualifying, where we put the car P3 for the one hour race.

The race was a good one! We had an awesome battle for third, with the other car having a lot more speed down the straights while we were able to make the time back through the corners. It made for some great racing, and after the full hour we crossed the line P3 overall.

The two TCR cars that finished first and second were incredibly fast and set a strong pace out front.

The new sequential box held up really well over the hour, and it’s definitely a big step up and a great upgrade from what we had in last year’s South Island Endurance Series.

The Z4 is now back in Nelson getting a full going over and a few things sorted before we head to Ruapuna for Round 2 on the 2nd & 3rd of October.

Plenty to work on before then, but we’ll be aiming to get back up there and fight for another podium!

Nelson Speedway 2025/26 - TQ Midget Rookie of the Year. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me to get this award. I would have loved to do more in the TQ this year, but due to other commitments, we just couldn’t fit it all in. I’m really looking forward to next season and hoping to get out there and do a lot more of what I love!
