Below are the rules for Nelson Hockey Centre set by Nelson Hockey Association.
Smoke-Free Venue (Smoking area outside under trees).
NO Alcohol to be consumed in the Car Parks.
NO Alcohol to be brought into the premises.
Alcohol to be consumed ONLY in the indicated Areas.
NO Food to be taken onto the turf.
NO Dogs on the turf.
Clean shoes before going on the turf if walking through mud or grass clipping.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
As per New Zealand Māori Hockey eligibility rules.
This is a senior tournament for independent players - R16.
Players must fund their own transport and accommodation (Marae opt).
All players and coaches must be of Māori descent.
Players must be a member of an eligible rohe, affiliated to, or reside/play in that rohe or whakapapa to their tupuna origins.
Players may be sourced from another rohe if permission is granted.
All players must be mindful of cultural protocol and adhere to NZMH Tikanga and its constitutions.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY
Rohe eligible to enter teams at National Māori Hockey Tournament are:
Hockey Northland
Hockey Nelson
Te Whatu Ora ‐ Te Tai Tokerau
Tamaki Makaurau Haupoi Maori
Waikato Maniapoto Maori Hockey
Waiariki Hockey
Te Tairawhiti Maori Hockey
Takitimu Maori Wardens
Waiariki Hockey
Aotea Māori Hockey Team 2021
Te Waipounamu Maori Hockey
Each rohe may enter one tāne and one wāhine team as a matter of course. The hosting rohe has the option to enter two tāne and two wāhine teams. The addition of further teams outside of these aforementioned teams are at the discretion of the kaunihera and the ability of the hosting rohe to cater for more teams.
Registrations must be checked and approved by your Rohe Delegate and forwarded to NZMH.
