The inaugural Kahurangi School’s Championships was played at the Motueka Rec Centre today with eight of the schools who have boundaries with the Kahurangi National Park taking to the court.
A very good day was had by all with the 3 Area Schools getting solid game time ahead of the TOSI tournament that will be played at Tapawera during tournament week.

The winners on the day were Tapawera Girls with Collingwood AS as the Runners Up 2/0 on the Girls side.

On the Boys side MHS Hops took a win 2/0 over Murchison AS.

We were privileged to have the Deputy Mayor, Brent Maru in attendance to present the Banners to the winning teams.

The skill level of the players just keeps building!
The games are getting closer and closer each week.

The young Referees do such a great job, and it is nice to receive some very positive comments about what a good job they are doing.
Nice to know that the Referees efforts are appreciated πŸ”₯🏐
