'Tis the season of a mid-winter Christmas raffle. But before you sell tickets, make sure you know the rules around using fi****ms and ammunition as prizes.

Under NZ law, fi****ms and ammunition can only be used as a prize in events that are based on the skill of the competitors, such as target shooting and hunting competitions.

Fi****ms or ammunition cannot be a prize where winning the prize is based on ‘luck of the draw’ including raffles and spot prizes associated with entry to a main competition.

Wow that year went fast, We’ve been quietly progressing our pistol range with better berms, more steel and now an Ashphelt base to keep you out of the mud. (Just needs a compactor if anyone has one and wants to help out) - we’re training a bit of IPSC but mostly pistol - if you’re interested in trying it out or starting with mini rifle let us know, we want to do more mini-rifle and shotgun but need consistent numbers and people to help set stages ect
