Labour Weekend cricket is in the books and there is a now a clear leader in the Tasman Premier League!

In a top of the table clash, The Car Company Stoke-Nayland Cricket Club had a dominate display over the previously undefeated NBS ACOB Cricket Club. The 88-run win lifts Stoke-Nayland to 3-0 and means they are the last undefeated side.

Adam Ward picked up 5/50 for Waimea Toi Toi United Cricket Club to help lift his side to a 27 run victory over the Wolves.

While Stoke-Nayland are clear at the top of the table, only 4 points 2nd from 8th after 3 rounds, leaving plenty to play for in the coming rounds.

In The Car Company Nelson Second Grade, it went to the wire at Marsden Rec as Waimea Toi Toi United Cricket Club continued their unbeaten start to the season with a narrow win over Stoke.

While WTTU move to 19 pts, Golden Bay Cricket Club, Nelson College Cricket, and Wanderers Community Sports Club all picked up wins to round out the top 4 after four rounds.

Thanks once again to our friends Shuttersport Nelson for capturing some of the action.

Another week is in the bag for The Car Company Nelson Tasman Premier League and 2nd Grade competitions.

The Car Company Stoke-Nayland Cricket Club, NBS ACOB Cricket Club - Athletic College Old Boys CC Nelson, and Nelson College Cricket all picked up wins this week to move to 2-0, although it is Stoke-Nayland with the early advantage on 10 points, 2 points clear.

While Stoke-Nayland and Nelson College picked up wins in low scoring matches, ACOB held their nerve to pick up a 7 run win in Brightwater.

The K Cup has had the first successful defense of the season, as Waimea Toi Toi United Cricket Club picked up a 4 wicket win in a low scoring match at Jubilee.

Varinder Singh (5-37 off 8) bowled well for Wakatu Cricket Club Nelson in their 2nd Grade fixture with Stoke-Nayland, however it wouldn't be enough to help get the win.

WTTU's win keeps their unbeaten start to the season going, and with it they move to 15 points and 5 points clear at the top of the table.

Full scorecards can be found on PlayHQ.
A full replay of the K Cup match between WTTU and Motueka Cricket Club can be found on our YouTube channel.
