What better way to celebrate a fantastic first half of the season than one final morning of cricket fun alongside the North v South Women's series!

Come along to our Smash Play Festival on Saturday 20th December, 9:30-10:30am at the Saxton Athletics Track and Field for an action-packed hour of games, plus a free sausage sizzle for all junior players!

After the festival, grab a spot on the bank at Saxton Oval and enjoy the excitement of the North v South Women’s Series, with the final T20 match beginning at 11:00am right next door. It’s an awesome chance for our young cricketers to watch some of the country’s top female players in action, and the whole day is completely free.

Bonus perks:
👕 The first 50 players who register and attend the event will score a free Smash Play T-shirt.
🪙 Register by the 11th December, 2025 to go in the draw to be the Coin Toss Kid for one of the matches (18–20 Dec), an exclusive moment out in the middle with the captains and match officials!

A brilliant opportunity for our Intermediate/Prep aged girls and boys.

The Nelson Women's Cricket Club will be working to fundraise to assist on getting a Nelson girls team to this Festival in Christchurch - regardless of what School or Club you belong to! ♥️🏏♥️.
