Cycling to a vineyard at 11am is completely acceptable. We checked.

Winter in Tasman wine country is something the summer crowds never see -
the vines are dormant, the light is soft and slanted, the tasting rooms are warm, and the winemaker might actually have time to sit down and talk to you!

Our Great Taste Wine Tours run through winter - and this is when we think they're at their best:

There are two types of cyclists:
😇people who carefully ration trail snacks, and
🤷 people who accidentally eat everything in the first 20 minutes.
