Due to the forecast weather we have decided to postpone this week’s shoot for a week. Hopefully we will see you all at 10.00AM on the 28th June instead.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but believe this decision will lead to a much better and more enjoyable shooting experience.

President Owen Little Wendy Hedwig and Paul Hedwig have just returned from a very cold Oceanias in Wodonga….thats in Victoria on the NSW border.
Luckily Wendy shot well the weekend before and came 5th in ladies then first in C grade on the Wednesday so $220 later she’s keeping me in the style I’m accustomed!
The first day of the Oceania, Friday, was a total white out with fog shortening the competition down to 50 targets a day as it didn’t lift.
Although disappointing this was the only way we could get through the 48 squads shooting.
Some hard targets thrown which we have not had to contend with before so all the scores were very low.
We had Adam Tree Green and Dale Carter also from Nelson shooting with us, with Adam winning the Senior shooter Oceania Cup. Great work mate!
The club made a huge effort putting traps in places that added to the difficulty and challenged the shooters and it was a shame we didn’t get to “enjoy” 8 fields.

Another stunning day completed with a good turnout.
Some challenging targets didn’t seem to bother Adam who HOA’d the day
The one single and two doubles made the shoot a bit faster and difficult for some.
We have NO shoot planned for May as some of us are chasing ducks and then off to compete in the Oceanias in Australia.
Wish us luck!
Out treasure/secretary Nick should have recovered sufficiently from his seriously broken leg to resume duties squading and accounting in June. Wendy’s very happy about that!!!
