Hello! Hope you’ve all had a glorious bank holiday weekend! ☀️

After our well earned May break, we are ready for a summer of fun netball on the outdoor courts in the sunshine! 😍 Starting Tuesday 2nd June.

A very belated (apologies 😬) congratulations to our lovely Beth for passing her Lvl1 Coaching Certificate, with flying colours, as we expected!

Many of you will recognise Beth as for many years she’s been Hornets defensive anchor, however was sadly injured just 4 games into the season and is awaiting surgery still 💔

We are delighted to instead welcome her to our ever growing coaching team, and so grateful for her extensive knowledge and teaching experience she brings to the Club.

And that’s a wrap! The last match of the season for Helston tonight as our social Bees welcomed Crofty to the court for their final game. Well done Bees for another well deserved win and ending the season on a high! Such a busy year, playing a colossal 20 games in the social league against some tough & experienced teams. Thank you Crofty for a lovely final game, always a pleasure 🖤💛

What a week it’s been for our lovely club, with all 4 teams who took to the court taking the win! 😍 it’s been a tough first season in Div 5 for Wasps, with not only lots of team changes and several transitioning from junior to senior netball, but a few injuries too. However tonight they hosted St Agnes 5 for their last match, and ended on a high as they confidently took the lead from the start and came away with the win! Such a fab game ladies, well done!

Well… What a night for Helston Netball Club! In the second of tonight’s double away match against Hayle, Hornets followed in the Bees footsteps and also got a well deserved win! The toughest game of the season, but they saved the best til last, pulling out all the stops to put a sting in Hayle 2’s unbeaten record in a nail biter of a performance! What a game ladies! We are all so proud of you! 🖤💛

Huge congratulations to both Jodie and Holly (GA/GS) for OPOM (plus Ali too!) ⭐️

Thank you to both umpires, and April on the score table who somehow managed to remain silent! 🤣 A huge bench of supporters for their last game of the season, so thank you too 🖤💛🫶

A fantastic last away match of the season for our social Bees tonight who put in a stellar performance against Hayle 5 over in Camborne. Dominating from the beginning and creating a strong lead, the girls settled into the game early doors, with defence working hard to turn the ball over and move it confidently down to the shooting circle 🎉 Great effort ladies!

Big get well soon hugs to Emily, we need you dancing for the awards on Saturday! 🫶

A fantastic display of team work from our u14s this evening, who travelled over to Pool to play another friendly match against Lastonets. The girls created a strong lead from the start, winning the first quarter 13-1. Well timed intercepts, and steady play down the court coupled with lovely movement and accuracy from the shooters meant they held their well deserved lead til the end. (Even after an extra 8 min bonus 5th quarter! 🎉) Well done girls, super proud of you all!

Andddd here we go! I to the last full week of the season, and what a week it is! 5 days in a row of netballing for some of us! 🎉

Good luck to Hornets and Wasps for their final games, and Bees for their penultimate match too. Let’s finish the season on a high! 🥰🖤💛

Looking forward to letting our hair down on Saturday for our awards party for sure! 💃🫶
