Swimming Pool:

A 6-lane, 25 metre swimming pool ranging from a depth of 0.9m – 1.9m. Our water quality is excellent and we use a low chlorine ultra violet treatment system which is much more customer friendly, especially on the eyes. The pool is available for public swimming and swimming lessons. Swim School:

We run swimming lessons for pre-school age, school age

and adults by Swimming Teachers Association qualified teachers. Fitness Suite and Free Weight Suite:

We have a comprehensive range of cardiovascular, resistance and free weights equipment. Better Membership:

We offer a range of memberships to suit your leisure activities. Full membership, which includes the fitness suite, classes and swims; Swim membership, with or without pool classes; and Junior membership, which includes swimming lessons. Birthday Parties:

Why do we use object collecting and floating toys in swimming lessons?

It might look like simple play (and it is fun!) but it’s carefully building essential swimming skills

When children collect sinking objects, they’re learning to:
- Control their breathing
- Feel confident underwater
- Open their eyes and orientate themselves below the surface
- Build strength and coordination

And floating toys have a purpose too! They encourage:
- Reaching and stretching
- Balance and body position
- Kicking and forward movement
- Confidence moving independently through the water

Every activity in the pool is designed to build safety, skill and confidence, step by step.

2 Days remaining to register for the Cornwall Club Games.

Our Games brings together individuals over 60+ who would be interested in a FUN Competition of walking sports of cricket; football, netball and pickleball.

Join us on Tuesday 29th September at Bodmin Leisure Centre, 9am - 5pm. Entry is £4.50
There will be free refreshments pasties, as well as participation medals, winning team sports and overall winners.

One pool noodle. Endless possibilities!

Pool noodles are one of the most versatile tools we use in swim lessons and they work for every swimmer, at every level.

Not only can we create colourful rainbows and waterfall for our Pre-School swimmers to travel under but they can be used in the following ways

Beginners: extra support while learning to float and move in the water.

Intermediate swimmers: balance and kick practice.

Advanced swimmers: technique drills and body position work.

From building confidence to improving skills, a simple pool noodle helps swimmers grow at their own pace.

Because swim lessons should be fun, supportive, and accessible for all abilities

We still need a few more people 60+ to join in the Cornwall Club Games, Tuesday 29th September. We have therefore extended the closing date for registration to Sunday 13th September.

If you are interested in a FUN competition, partaking in; Walking Cricket; Walking Football; Walking Netball and Pickleball.
You do not need to have played these sports previously.

We are happy to announce that we are one of the participating centres with the summer reading challenge. 📖

Once you have received a voucher please bring it into centre to redeem it in a swim for all or a family fun swim.

Please note that vouchers will be given out by participating Libraries and are redeemable for one free swim for one child.

Please be aware that under 8's and non swimmers under 16 will have to be accompanied by a competent swimmer over the age of 16 who will need to purchase their swim separately.
