Penrose Judo Club

Penrose Judo Club Judo for Beginners, Intermediate, Seniors and special needs.Meeting every Tuesday and Friday We are an all inclusive club. All abilities welcome.

Penrose Judo Club started up about 8 years ago and like most clubs has had its fair share of ups and downs. Over the past 3 years we have grown in membership and status. This is due to funding from Sported, Cornwall Community Foundation and Sport England. This has enabled the club to buy new mats, judo suits, training equipment and send coaches and volunteers for training to assist in the running

of the club. At the end of 2012, the club achieved its Bronze Clubmark through the British Judo Association which makes the club the only one in Cornwall to hold this accreditation. This shows that the club has met the strict criteria required to ensure the safe and fun delivery of judo.
