💙 National Drowning Prevention Week 💙

This week we're proud to support National Drowning Prevention Week and help raise awareness of the importance of water safety.

Drowning can happen quickly and silently, but many incidents are preventable through education and awareness. Learning how to stay safe in and around water is a vital life skill for children and adults alike.

Throughout the week, our swimmers will be taking part in dedicated water safety lessons, learning important skills such as:
🏊‍♂️ Safe entries and exits
🛟 Floating and staying calm in the water
🚨 What to do if they get into difficulty
🌊 Understanding hazards around water

Swimming lessons are about so much more than learning strokes—they help build confidence, awareness, and potentially life-saving skills.

Let's work together to ensure everyone can enjoy the water safely.

We know this can be a mix of excitement and nerves—for both children and parents—and it’s a big milestone. Whatever the outcome, today marks the start of a new adventure.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that you get your first choice and can’t wait to hear all your news! 💙

We hope all of our swimmers and families have a wonderful Easter break.
Our team will be taking a short break to recharge their batteries and enjoy some well-deserved quality time with their families.
Lessons will resume on Friday 10th April, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to the pool then!

But this time we:
🌿 Swished through grass
🌊 Kicked across rivers
🟤 Waded through mud
❄️ Spun in snowstorms
🕳️ Glided into caves

Then… THE BEAR!
🏊‍♂️ Cue the fastest swim home!
