Having been a victim of an assault myself many years ago, I decided to take responsibility for my own personal safety. Like most people, I joined a local Karate club before moving onto Ju-Jitsu which is where I felt a true connection with defensive training. Not everyone has the time or opportunity to devote to years of Self-Defense training, whether its in martial arts, boxing or another contact

sport. i believe it is absolutely vital to learn how to protect yourself and others from any potential threat you may encounter. DB Defense Training offers you a practical and effective guide to do just that! Using this guide, along with regular practice of DB techniques, students can develop their defensive skills as well as increase their ability and confidence. There is simply Self-Defense!

As 2024 approaches, the gyms are about to get busy! Why not avoid the rush and book into your own private studio to kick start new year at ‘The Bullett Box’? We are a small private studio for 1-2-1 personal training, located in Dunmow, Essex.

Whether you’re new to fitness training or returning after the Xmas break, it’s a great way to focus your training goals and lifting techniques.

And it’s an ideal alternative for those who are not comfortable in large commercial gyms.

Dare I say it, but I love a good workout programme! I honestly believe that you can’t go into a gym without being prepared to what area you intend to work on in that day!

A majority of my training is resistance work. It’s good to keep muscles, bones, ligaments etc strong and supportive as we gradually age. However, I also like throwing in a random ‘conditioning’ sessions from time to time!
Todays focus - A/ cardio endurance - row/ski intervals & DB clean and press - B/ core stability - 15m torpedo carries with drop sets of pause push up intervals.

Sweaty session, but feeling so much better for it! 😅
