Formed in 1873, the Warrnambool Racing Club is home to the TAB May Racing Carnival and the Haymes Paint Jericho Cup. The racecourse is situated on the eastern outskirts of Warrnambool, set in a picturesque valley.

Yet another sensational spring day for twilight racing at The Bool yesterday!

It was certainly a great day of racing with a few long shots taking out victory, including Quinton Scott's first win of the season with Tauri. Our local trainers shared the glory equally for the day with Peter Chow's Parkrun, Tom Dabernig's Fammi, Symon Wilde's Hiney's Bar and Maddie Raymond & Patrick Bell's Crickwood. Plus, Darryl Horner Jnr and Damien Thornton both rode doubles for the day.

What a weekend for our local trainers! 🏇💥

Dabernig Racing led the way with a Group 2 double at Caulfield, with Cavalry Girl claiming the Caulfield Sprint before Shadhavar stormed home to win the last. Craig Williams was on board for both victories.

Shane Jackson Racing claimed their first Group 3 win, with King Snitz taking out the Caulfield Classic in a close finish.

Over in Avoca, Tikemyson, ridden by Jack Hill, claimed the Avoca Cup for Wilde Racing

A special mention goes to Ciaron Maher and Tempted for conquering The Everest at Randwick.

What a thrilling weekend of racing! We're incredibly proud to see our local trainers taking it to the big stage!

What a day for our first twilight meet in years! ☀️ The sun was shining, the racing was incredible and we can’t wait to do it all again in two weeks’ time!

Peter Chow and Shane Jackson delivered wins for the locals, with Endless Fury and High Falls both claiming a win. Ciaron Maher had another double for the day with Black Aces and Who I Think I Am, while John Allen also finished with a double.
