Warrnambool Pony Club Warrnambool Pony Club is a member of the Wannon Zone of Pony Clubs. The Warrnambool Pony Club is a member of the Wannon Zone of Pony Clubs.

We strive to provide a caring and safe environment with the emphasis on safety of horse and rider, sportsmanship and a family atmosphere. Our facilities are some of the best in our area, situated just 5 minutes out of the CBD in the Albert Park Reserve. Our facilities include:
- a fully enclosed showjumping arena
- a fully enclosed menage for instructional purposes
- a flat, open area able to hold

four dressage arenas
- a full cross country course for grades 1-5 with a variety of permanent and portable fences, including a water jump and steps
- a round yard
- small yards

We also host a variety of competitions and clinics throughout the year, including:
- February Combined Training & Dressage
- May Horse Trials
- September Warrnambool Inter-School Equestrian Championships (WISEChamps)
- December Eventing Clinic
- a variety of other clinics scattered throughout the year

If you would like more information about the club, please contact a committee member and we can arrange for an information booklet to be sent your way. Visiting rallies are always welcome, and should be arranged through the committee prior to the rally. CAMPING: We often receive enquiries about camping at the Club grounds at Albert Park. Warrnambool City Council does NOT permit this. However Camping Facilities ( powered sites, toilets, and horse stalls) are available at Warrnambool Showgrounds . Illoura Downs Pony Club Victoria State Horse Trials 2026

It is with great pleasure we announce the Wannon Zone Warriors have won the the

John Barlee Perpetual Shield for the very first time!

This could not be possible without the encouragement and team spirit of all riders that competed on the weekend.

A massive thankyou to Meaghan who steered the team through the 2 days

This is a wonderful result for all riders with hard work, encouragement and dedication all came together over the 2 days.

Thankyou to all the parents guardians supporters who attended and helped out the team.

The Warrnambool Pony Club would like to extend its congratulations to member Matilda Graesser on winning the 2026 state championship for eventing in the grade 2 class over the weekend 👏🥳🐎

Matilda and her horse Sparrow also won the Off The Track award and the closest to optimum time award- a fantastic achievement Matilda.

Club member Jessica Williams also riding in the grade 2 class placed 3rd and 4th on her two horses while Layla Williams placed 8th in the grade 3 class.

Congratulations everyone, Warrnambool PC are very proud of your efforts 🙌

Yesterday we wrapped up another year of Pony Club. A massive shout out to MacArthur Pony Club for allowing our members to join in with your rallies 🙌 thanks also to all of the instructors, helpers and those that organise the rallies- without you they don’t happen.

Cobden Pony Club in conjunction with Emu Creek Pony Club are holding an Alan Mitchall SJ Clinic on October 18th and 19th at Emu Creek grounds Terang. Lessons will be 1.5 hrs in small groups. If you would like a lesson either say or both please contact Kristie Coverdale on 0407683031 or via fb.
