Experience the Passion of Buenos Aires with Argentine Tango! 🇦🇷💃🕺

Prepare to be swept away by the elegance, rhythm, and sheer passion of the Argentine Tango at the 2025 Warrnambool Multicultural Festival on November 8th! We are thrilled to present our local Argentine Tango group, bringing a taste of Buenos Aires to our stage!

Made up of 4-5 dedicated local couples, our volunteer dancers will share a semi-choreographed routine to a traditional Argentine tango song. With a vibrant mural as their backdrop, they will embody the joy, intensity, and sophisticated grace that defines this iconic dance.

Don't miss this opportunity to witness a performance brimming with emotion and cultural artistry. Let the captivating movements and enchanting music transport you to the colourful streets of Argentina!

Curious about tango? Join us for a free introduction class at the Scout Hall, 112 Timor Street, on Tuesday, October 7th, at 6.30 PM.

Whether you're a complete beginner or want to refresh your basics, this is the perfect chance to experience the magic of Argentine tango. No partner or prior experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm!

Come along, have fun, and see what tango is all about. 🌟

See you all at the Warrnambool Multicultural Festival!

After being deeply involved in festival planning and management over the past few years, our Co-Founder & President, Daisy Ye, is so excited to share that we now have a dedicated Festival Sub-Committee! 🎉

This amazing team will focus on bringing the festival to life, while the WMA Board continues to grow strategically and connect with other organisations supporting multicultural communities across the South West.

A huge shout-out to Carlos Lopez, who’s stepping up as Festival Committee Chair. 🙌 Daisy is blown away by his leadership and looks forward to supporting the committee’s journey.

And after three years of dashing around behind the scenes, Daisy jokes that maybe this year she’ll finally get to enjoy the festival… watch the performances, try the food, make more connections, and join in some hands-on cultural activities! 🎶🍲💃
