What a massive year for Taroona Rugby Club! From our Under 8s right through to our Premiership Men and Women, every single group has grown — on and off the field.

And behind every team, every training session, every game plan, every win, every tough loss and every young player finding their feet… are our coaches. 👏

This group took it up another level this year. The planning, preparation, collaboration and sheer commitment has been next level. Coaches backing coaches, sharing ideas and working together to make every player and every team better.

That dedication is a massive part of what sets Taroona apart.

You don't just turn up on game day. You turn up week after week. You invest your time, energy and knowledge into our players and our club — and the impact of that goes way beyond the scoreboard.

So, from the President, Committee, Parents, Supporters and most importantly, every player in the Colony…

The Penguins have done it! 🐧💙🤍

And just for a little extra flex… the U16s AND Premiership boys finished UNDEFEATED. 🔥

Our U18s put up a gallant fight, leaving absolutely everything out there and falling just short in the big one. An outstanding season from the boys. 👊

Three premierships. Two undefeated teams.
Not a bad weekend at the Fortress. 😉

Rob “Clayto” Clayton is bringing up the big 5️⃣0️⃣ in the only way that makes sense… IN A GRAND FINAL! 🍾🏆

Like any good ho**er, Clayto is an absolute pest on the field — and frankly, we’re just bloody happy that pest is wearing blue & white. 😂

Whether he’s questioning “HOW MANY MEN?” 🤨, acquiring golf clubs under questionable circumstances ⛳️, or generally leaving everyone around him asking “WTF Clayto?” — there are a million Clayto stories.

But the undisputed classic?

Getting dropped off to training by the cops after a rear ending someone in his car at the traffic lights, because nothing was going to stop him turning up for the boys. 🚔➡️🏉

Elite commitment. Questionable decision-making. Absolute clubman. 😂

So Colony, get your finger guns 🔫👉 out and give it up for our favourite ginger ho**er!

Massive year for the boys and now it all comes down to the game that actually counts. They’ve been stacking wins all season — now it’s time to clock up one more when it matters most. 💪

Don't read too much into the previous couple of results. The Penguins already had their Grand Final ticket booked and have been putting in the work behind the scenes.
