Welcome back sports fans!!

As you would have almost certainly heard by now - the bloods are BACK in 2016, looking fitter than ever (pictured in PHRESH kits).

We would also like to welcome some new bloods to the roster:

#9 George 'about 2-3 weeks I reckon' Gasvalas
#21 Winno 'fouled out' Winston
#69 Jarry 'fill-in' Schlesinger-Hill
#77 Marrick 'Tim' Siejka

With early injury niggles, the unknown whereabouts of captain Uncle Tuck and a devastating long-term injury to stand-in captain Lachlan 'Steals' Crowder - the pressure has been on some of the new bloods, as well as the team being forced to play the woeful Coach Ticko who is still yet to register a bucket 5 games in!

So now is the time to get behind your favourite social basketball franchise, you know where to find us! 8.10 next Monday night at the Abusement Park, BE THERE.

THE BLOODS FINALS CAMPAIGN CONTINUES TONIGHT!!
7:30PM KINGBOROUGH SPORTS STADIUM!!

As you would have all heard, the boys of UTAYB, bolstered by the return of Uncle "Franchise" Tuck have succeeded in continuing their quest to go Back-2-Back in 2014!!

Tonight they face the Black Mambas, a team that the bloods weren't able to overcome in the regular season!

Will they prevail tonight to earn a spot in the grand final against arch-rivals Powered By Rice??

Will Larry Owen be able to back up his B.O.G. performance from the weekend in the football final?? Or will he still be drunk?? (Can't hurt his FT% either way....)

Will Rory "Tina" Middleton be able to bounce back from a heartbreaking hockey final loss on the weekend??

Will Uncle "LeBron" Tuck be able to go 30, 8, 8, 3 and 3 again??

All this and more will be answered tonight!

So come along at 7:30 TONIGHT, to see what could be the last outing for the boys of UTAYB but more importantly, could be the last coaching experience for the very special, very needy, only child (I mean coach) Ticko Lawson! And who knows, if the bloods win tonight we may even see Coach in his birthday suit again - as seen pictured here. So get around them!

THE FAIRYTALE CONTINUES!!

UTAYB 42 def. Skretting Barras 19 to advance through to the Preliminary Final next week, in front of a stellar crowd!! Including, for the first time, the wonderful Jo Edwards - the lady behind the MDA Banner that is the UTAYB major sponsor!

And in another feel good story, or two even, joint MDA Player of the Game honours were shared by the two returning stars Alex 'Schapelle' Tucker and Emmanuel 'Aristos' Maroios! In what can only be said to be a great team effort with contributions seen across the board!

Good Afternoon Sports Fans!

Well have we been busy today here at UTAYB! At lunchtime today six of the lads took the short walk over the road from the clinical school and we are very proud to announce that as a UTAYB community (yes - all of you!) we were able to raise a Grand Total of $710 through the inaugural UTAYB Raffle which was donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Hobart!

Thank you for all of those people who purchased a ticket or 7!! As well as our sponsors - MDA National, Chemist Warehouse and the Courthouse Cafe! And congratulations to the 3 lucky winners:
