A couple of Aussie legends and good friends of ours are doing it tough financially after a run of bad luck. Their Pacific crossing plans this year are now on hold thanks to a dodgy and dishonest boat yard that seriously damaged their boat (and home).

To top it off, they were struck by lightening whilst being stuck in the yard for 4 months repairing their boat which fried most of their essential electronic systems which they had only recently upgraded.
