The New Town White Eagles are a local Tasmanian soccer club founded in 1961 under the original name, The White Eagle Sports Club. The White Eagle Sports Club idea was conceived in 1960 and the club was formed in 1961 under the auspices of the Polish Association based in New Town. The club has experienced on field success at many levels since its inception, including State League premierships, of w

hich it has won eight. The New Town White Eagles have produced many great players including state and national representatives. The New Town White Eagles currently play in the Southern Championship and cater for over 120 players at both senior and junior level. Home games are played at Clare Street Oval, and the Polish Club in New Town serves as both our club rooms and administrative home.

It's a massive weekend of football for the White Eagles 🦅

With six teams taking the field across Saturday and Sunday, there's plenty of action for supporters to get around.

Saturday sees our U13s take on Metro at North Chigwell before attention shifts to Clare Street for a huge home double-header against Hobart United. Championship 1 kicks off at 12:15pm, followed by our Men's Championship side at 2:30pm.

The action continues on Sunday with our Women's Social team taking on Taroona at Kelvedon Park, our Men's Social side hosting Metro at Clare Street, and our Women's Championship team facing a tough challenge against Clarence Zebras at Wentworth Park.

Whether you're supporting at home or away, let's get behind all our teams as they pull on the red and white this weekend.

After a weekend off for the Statewide Cup Finals and what feels like weeks of rain across Southern Tasmania, we're excited to finally be back on the pitch and hosting football once again.

This weekend, the spotlight falls on our youth and Mens Championship teams as they take centre stage at home for a triple header on Saturday, before a Sunday double-header featuring our Women's Social League and Championship sides against Glenorchy Knights at KGV.

It'll be great to see players, families and supporters back around the club enjoying some football and hopefully some better weather.
