What started as a community gathering has grown into something so much bigger. 💙🧡

In just five years, Oktoberfest for Su***de Prevention has raised more than $500,000, including an incredible $164,000 last year alone.

Every person who attends, donates, volunteers, sponsors, or simply helps spread the word is part of that impact. Together, we’re supporting su***de prevention, mental health resources, and people in our community who need them.

Now it’s time for Year 6. 🧡

August was a busy one! 💙 From community runs and shoe screenings to educational events, exercise classes, and local partnerships, our ActivePT team loved getting out into the communities we serve.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to show up, share what we know, support local events, and help people keep doing what they love.

Thank you to all of the organizations, businesses, schools, and community members who welcomed us this month. We’re already looking forward to what September brings! 🙌

🏀 Say hello to Lindsay Field, PTA! 🏀

Lindsay earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa in 2026. She previously completed her degree in Health Promotion and Exercise Science from Waldorf University in 2024. 🎓
During her time at Waldorf, Lindsay was a member of the basketball team, helping shape her passion for movement, performance, and teamwork.

She is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most, with a special interest in knee and shoulder conditions as well as working with athletes of all ages and activity levels. 💪
Lindsay enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and creating individualized treatment plans that support recovery, performance, and long-term wellness.

She lives in Eyota, Minnesota, and outside the clinic enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, going for walks, traveling, and cheering on Minnesota sports teams. ⛳🚶‍♀️✈️

Shoulder pain can make everyday movements—reaching for a shelf, getting dressed, lifting, or even sleeping—more frustrating than they should be.

Pain with overhead movement, discomfort reaching behind your back, aching at night, or weakness when lifting your arm may be signs that your shoulder isn't moving as well as it could.

Whether you’re water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, or spending the day on the boat, late-summer lake days can ask a lot from your body—especially when it’s been a while since you’ve done those movements.
