Set up here for a full day and people come back from the break on time, because the break is a balcony over Midway Beach.

Evening functions at Midway, prizegivings, awards nights, work Christmas dos, birthdays, the last hui before Christmas.

Tables, chairs, Wi-Fi and room setup included. Bring your own caterer and décor. Free parking right at the door.

A wedding at Midway, start to finish.

Chairs turned to face the water, dried grasses on the plinths, and the Willys out the front with ribbons on. Ceremony and reception in the same room, turn the chairs around, shift the plinths, and it's a different space by the time everyone's had a drink.

This is where your event happens.

The Mana Moana Lounge is upstairs behind those windows, 180 degrees of Midway Beach along one side, and a balcony that gets the evening sun. There's a boardroom for up to ten as well.

Xmas functions, weddings, after 5 business functions, conferences, hui, wānanga & prizegivings to name a few.

🌱Huge thanks to ArborCare Tree Company Ltd on Stanley Rd for supplying us with top quality mulch to keep the gardens around Midway looking sharp and to Dave Stewart a volunteer Midway SLSC clubbie who takes great pride in looking after our grounds. He had some lovely Midway SLSC mums helping him. Thanks team!

So, when we started to create the Tahu vision, it took us on a journey that honoured our tipuna (ancestors), paid homage to Te Tairāwhiti as a region, and started something that can make a difference on an array of levels....
