Opening night at Awapuni Speedway saw a night of good results with a 7th and two 8th placing. These results combined with Brodie Gooch good results saw us top the podium for the Best Pairs event. Big thanks to Mangapa Garage BNT and Repco GIsborne for looking after the Ministock kids.

The 11g Ministock is all ready for sign writing. Paint has be touched up close enough, New lights to help at night have been wired up and the head has had some love thanks to Simpson Automotive.

Thats my season done and dusted. Was good to race at Wellington and Huntly for the first time. Big thanks to Stuart Priest for taking me to Wellington twice to race with . The last half of the season saw you get a lot more confidence racing close with other cars.

Long time between racing updates.
Have had a trip to Baypark Speedway with 3 nights of racing at home, Awapuni Speedway.
Baypark we were joined by William on the 52g machine. Results showed good progress from both young fellas. 3 clean races and back home to prep for the ministock 100.
This was Brad's first season in the seniors group and was happy to avoid the rough stuff some drivers are keen on. Good pace was shown, but by race 3 it seems that there was an issue with fuel starving.
This past weekend was a 2 night meeting at home with 30 plus ministocks.
After fine tuning the Carb by race 3 the neddle valve was thought to be sticking. Brad did a good job pedaling with is foot flat to use the fuel up and was starting to get amongst the racing. Unfortunately a dad error after re kitting the Carb for night 2 kept jaming on the track no matter what was done to fix it in the pits. Dad is sure it's been fixed now and has learnt a valuable lesson.
