🚨Skills Night🚨
Friday 26th June - 5pm-6pm
Skills Night is open to all those that can do 25m continuously. You don't have to sign up and there are no attendance fees, just remember to swipe your card or talk to the front desk about the comet pool entry fees.
This is a great opportunity to practice before the competitive season starts in July. If you would like to know more about how to become a competitive swimming member be sure to get in touch.
We are always looking for parents and supporters interested in becoming timekeepers or officials. These roles are a great way to support our swimmers and learn more about the sport. If you’d like to get involved, come and have a chat.

🚨Club Night🚨
As we look ahead to another exciting year of swimming in the Hawke’s Bay–Poverty Bay region, we’re inviting all families to complete their annual Swimming New Zealand (SNZ) and HBPB Swimming affiliation in July. This one-time annual fee gives your swimmer access to a full 12 months of competitive swimming opportunities across Gisborne, the wider HBPB region, and beyond.If you’re interested in learning more about swimming competitively, please come and see us at Club Night on 22 May — we’re happy to answer questions and help guide you through the process.

🔥 HBPB Winter Short Course Championships – Coming This August! 🔥

Get this one locked into your calendars now! Our region’s premier short‑course showdown is hitting HBRAC from 14–16 August, and you won’t want to miss it.

Open to competitive swimmers of all ages, this is where our athletes race for Age Group titles, medals, and ribbons — the ultimate mid‑season test of speed and skill.

Visitors are absolutely welcome with loads of chances to race finals and earn visitor ribbons. It’s the perfect meet to chase NZ Short Course qualifying times, smash PBs, and go head‑to‑head with swimmers from across the region.

Fast racing, big energy, and plenty on the line — see you poolside in August! 🏊‍♂️💥🏅
