🩷🖤 Comet Fastwater Meet Recap 🖤🩷

What a fantastic weekend at the Comet Fastwater Meet!

We saw an incredible number of personal bests, some fantastic performances, and it was especially exciting to watch several of our newer swimmers compete in their very first meet. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination, and sportsmanship shown by all of our swimmers. 🏊✨

A huge thank you to Nicola Williams, Holli McDonald, and Brianna Latu for managing our team over the weekend. Your time, organisation, and support are so appreciated, and you all did an amazing job.

A special thank you also goes to our incredible team of officials—both qualified and those currently in training. Swim meets simply couldn’t happen without your dedication and willingness to volunteer your time.

To everyone who helped with timekeeping throughout the weekend, thank you! We had so many Enterprise whānau stepping up to help, and your support is truly appreciated.

We also have many promising swimmers who weren’t able to attend this competition, and we’d love to see even more of our team racing at future meets. Competitions are a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and have fun alongside your teammates.

Our next meet is the Hawke’s Bay Poverty Bay Winter Championships in Hastings. We’d love to have as many Enterprise swimmers there as possible! If you’re interested in competing, have a chat with Gary, Jonette , or Matt for more information.

Congratulations to everyone who competed, volunteered, coached, officiated, managed, and supported our team. Thank you for making it such a successful weekend—we’re incredibly proud of our Enterprise whānau! 🩷

🏊‍♂️ Looking ahead to later in the season…

We’ve attached details for two exciting away meets that Enterprise Swim Team will be attending as a club:
📍 Mt Maunganui – 27–28 June
📍 Hastings (HBPB Winter Champs) – 14–16 August

Our swimmers are training incredibly well and racing is such an important part of continuing to grow, improve, and build confidence in the pool.

HBPB Winter Champs will be a key meet for our season with 10 & under racing and relays across all age groups, so we’d love to see as many swimmers there as possible.

If you can, we really encourage families to try and make it along to at least one of these meets 🖤💗🏊‍♀️
