Our Fitness & Membership Manager, Mark Downey, takes you on a quick tour of the Arena so you know exactly where everything is before you get started.

From the gym and fitness facilities to the spaces you’ll be using throughout the year, consider this your introduction to SETU Arena.

A great day welcoming some of SETU’s newest International students to the Arena!

We were delighted to host part of the International Student Orientation, giving students the chance to see the Arena, meet some new faces and get involved in a few activities.

Our Sports & Societies Intern, Dermot, also put their hurling skills to the test with a few demonstrations before letting the students have a go themselves!

A big welcome to all of SETU’s new international students. We hope you enjoyed your time with us at the Arena and have a brilliant year ahead!

Making time for you doesn’t mean putting pressure on yourself.

Getting back into the gym doesn’t have to mean six days a week or having the perfect routine from day one.

Our Fitness & Membership Manager, Mark, shares his advice for getting back into a routine: start at your own pace, be realistic with yourself and remember that consistency looks different for everyone.

Miss a week? Start again next week. Miss a session? Come back when you can.

The important thing is that you keep making time for you.

A little look behind the scenes… 🎬

It’s been a very busy year at SETU Arena, which has meant lots of videos and, as you can see, they don’t always go to plan on the first take!

A huge thank you to all of our staff who are constantly willing to step in front of the camera and help us create content. We know it’s not always easy, and sometimes it takes a few takes to get there… 😅

When the facilities are worth the four-hour journey! 🏒

We caught up with Michael Creane, Chairperson of Inline Hockey Ireland, during the U17 European Championships at SETU Arena.

Michael spoke about why SETU Arena has become such a strong venue for Inline Hockey events from our state-of-the-art facilities and spacious event areas to changing rooms, spectator seating, on-site food options and, most importantly, the team behind it all.

Hosting events of this scale is exactly what SETU Arena is built for, and we’re incredibly proud to provide a venue that can welcome athletes, teams and supporters from across Ireland and Europe.

A huge well done to the incredible team behind the Sunny South East Cycle 2026! 💙🚴

So much work goes on behind the scenes to bring an event like this together, and we were proud to host such a fantastic event at SETU Arena.

Congratulations to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who played a part in making the day such a success, as well as every cyclist who took part in support of Down Syndrome Waterford & South Kilkenny.

Proud to host the U17 Inline Hockey European Championships at SETU Arena! 🏒🇮🇪

This week, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming teams, coaches and supporters from across Europe to Waterford for a very special event the first U17 Inline Hockey European Championships to be hosted in Ireland.

It’s fantastic to see our Arena come alive for an international sporting event of this scale and to showcase the facilities, spaces and team we have here at SETU Arena.

We’re delighted to play our part in such a milestone for Inline Hockey Ireland and wish all of the teams the very best for the remainder of the championship! 🏆
