🚨 Waterford Warriors 10 Years of Fitness 🚨

Today marked an achievement that 65% of businesses never make it to. Hitting 10 years was always a big goal for us to achieve as we knew how difficult it was going to be.

10 years of growth and Impact in our little city.

We are so proud of what we have achieved behind these walls.

1000s of people have changed their life’s through fitness and coaching in here.
Careers formed, businesses have been created and more mistakes made by me the owner, than most will make in a lifetime.

We are thrilled to have so much support and excited to see what lays ahead in the future.
We will continue to push the boundaries and challenge ourselves to come back stronger in 2024.

We have now found ourselves looking for a new home.

We will be taking a minute to regroup and come back with a new shiny coat and ready to help people in March so until then…

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us through the good and challenging times.
We are eternally grateful.

Where it all started and where it will all end.

Tomorrow marks the end of Waterford Warriors Unit 16D. 10 years of amazing memories.

Members we would love if you could come and join us for our final Team workout as we mark out 10th and Final birthday in the Six Cross roads.

10am - We will turn the music up one more time.
We would love to have you there with us.

11am we will chat about what the future holds.

We would love to see you, let’s give it that extra push.

🔥 National Quality Award 2024 🔥

We are proud to receive the recognition of this years NSQ award.
To achieve this award you must keep a level of excellence throughout your whole organisation.

To obtain the NQS Award.

send an independent auditor to your location.
After a deep dive into your health and safety, operations manual, career roadmaps, client journey and satisfaction reports one step at a time.

There is a walk around the facility checking for any issues with the facility everything is checked from obstructions, health and safety and operating logs.

What makes this award somewhat unique is that it’s NOT mandatory.
The owner needs to be proactive and make the choice to have this audit done.
The team then decide to hold the standard all year, which keeps our service to the very highest level 12 months of the year.

When you sign up for the NQS you also agree to random visits throughout the year. This fits in line with our long term vision to provide a 5 Star service within our company.
This also represents strongly in our mission. To continually try pull up the industry standard to a really high level in comparison to other Industries who pursue continuous growth.

A special mention to who is our NQS Coordinator who makes sure we hold the standard from Jan 1st to Dec 31st

Also to our friends in Dublin who also received the award yesterday.

Members we want you here.

Mark it in your diaries as we have news to share.
December 23rd marks the end of our 10 year target. A plan we figured out as we went along, often the vision got moved, but our goal was to be one of the best gyms in the city and in the country.

The only issue was we didn’t know really how to measure what that looked like.
We wanted to make an impact in our city which we have done.
We wanted to help people change how they trained for the better.

Since 2013 we have.

Won Waterford best gym twice

Raised over 100k for Saint Vincent de paul.

The first gym in Ireland to receive the National Quality Standard Award from

Made thousands of people fitter, stronger, healthier.

Provided meaningful careers which as spawned into more incredible gyms being opened.

Helped sports athletes and teams achieve success and progress in their sports.

Contributed to the economy and other businesses.

We have made more mistakes than most gyms as we aspire to continually change and grow. This hasn’t always worked out as planned but we have done it with passion, honesty and with good intent. These have always ended up with great learnings for us to improve as a company and team for our clients.

December 2023 with be the closing of this chapter. We will be parking all of those memories and starting a new beginning.

Our vision has changed from being the best in the country to being an influence of change. To be a supporter of other people in our industry and to help Waterford, not just be the best city to live, but the healthiest city to live in.

We want to include you in our vision and get you excited for 2024 and beyond.

On this lovely Thursday afternoon we’d like to say a big well done to Sinèad Shanahan!Who got her first rope climb this week!! 💪💪

Sinèad has gone from strength to strength since joining in April - along with being a pleasure to coach, just like her two sons Ciaran and Mark, and of course legendary husband Declan 👑

This week we have started our new strength cycle and we are off to a flyer 🙌🙌

For the next few weeks in our group classes we will be focusing on increasing our 1 rep max Deadlift, Bench Press and Strict Press.

Weekly progress - 1 rep at a time 🫡

Congratulations to who advanced into the semi final stages on Sunday.

They have been working extremely hard with since January and their hard work has been paying off.

Their reward a semi final with Lisdowney Oct 8th.
We have lots of members from Mooncoin so we will all be rooting for you in two weeks time 🔥🔥
