Tralee Magic Basketball Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tomorrow evening, Tuesday 26th May at 7pm in Blennerville primary school.

As a volunteer-led club, Tralee Magic is built by its members. The AGM is a chance to hear about the club, have your say, and help shape what comes next. We would really encourage parents of children in the club, and all club members over the age of 18, to attend.

The AGM requires a quorum of non-Executive members, so attendance really does matter.

This club is built by its members, and the AGM is an important chance to make your voice heard. We would love to see a strong turnout on the night 💙

Huge congratulations to CBS The Green, Tralee 1st Year Basketball Team on an unforgettable 2025–2026 season 💙💛

What a year for this group:

🏆 South West Champions
🏆 All-Ireland Minor A Champions
🔥 Unbeaten across the South West and All-Ireland series

special shoutout to the six Tralee Magic players who were part of this incredible squad. It is brilliant to see Magic players contributing to a team of this standard, bringing their work rate, team-first attitude and love of the game into such a successful school campaign.

It took a serious amount of hard work from the whole squad to get there. Credit to the players, coaches and supporters who helped drive the team all the way to the very top.

A brilliant standard has been set for the years coming behind them.

Huge congratulations to our Tralee Magic girls Gracie, Aimee, Abby and Lauren, who lined out with Kerry at the NABC Interregional U17 Girls Blitz in Claregalway yesterday 💙

Kerry had a brilliant run through the group stages, finishing top of their group with four wins:

Clare 12–32 Kerry
Galway 27–39 Kerry
Dublin 15–44 Kerry
North East 24–39 Kerry

They then went on to face Kilkenny South East in the Cup Final, where they came up just short, 36–27, after a fantastic day of basketball.

A special mention to Gracie, who captained the side and led by example throughout the day with an outstanding display. Brilliant too from Aimee, Abby and Lauren, who all represented Kerry and Tralee Magic with pride.

Well done girls — another great day for the club and for Kerry basketball 💙

Bonus Academy Skills Sessions are here at Tralee Magic 💙
With the official season now finished, we’re delighted to be offering a series of free extra sessions for some of our younger age groups in Mercy Mounthawk. It’s a great chance for the girls and boys to stay active, keep a ball in their hands, and keep building their skills in a fun and positive environment.
These sessions are being organised by John Dowling and led by coaches from across the club — another great example of our volunteers coming together to create extra opportunities for young players to learn, improve and enjoy their basketball.

Magic in Kerry 💚🏀

Congratulations to our 4 Magic girls who represented Kerry in MTU today, alongside their Magic coach and team manager.

County jerseys are earned. Our players continue to raise the bar, and it’s powerful to see them compete on that stage.

Tralee Magic keeps moving.

Big congratulations to Joshua Osayanrhion on his commitment to Queens University of Charlotte, where he will continue his basketball journey on a full scholarship next year 💙

Joshua joined Tralee Magic as a teenager and made a huge impression through his athleticism, work rate, and the way he kept pushing his game forward. From Magic to Mercy Mounthawk, Tralee Warriors, Irish international basketball, and now NCAA Division 1, his journey has been built on talent, commitment, and plenty of hard work.

This is a brilliant achievement for Joshua and a proud moment for his family, his coaches, his teammates, and everyone in Tralee Magic.
