We beat them at The Oyster Oval last year...can we do the same on THEIR home turf?

Bad luck to 1st XI who couldn't get revenge for last years defeat in the National Cup Final against Galway. DLS didn't help us at all on this occasion, but on the bright side... yet another half-century for Awais Saghir!!

Bad luck also to the 5th squad at Midleton.

But what a match at the Oyster on Saturday!! High drama with all three results in play on the last ball! Well done Devon for staying cool and getting us over the line. And credit to Clare too for their part in what was a seriously entertaining contest!

County Galway 1st XI: 302 for 9, beat Kerry 1st XI: 179 for 6, by 58 runs (DLS method).

MCU Division 1: Adare Manor Fields, May 2nd

Limerick 2nd XI: 245a.o. beat Kerry 2nd XI: 159a.o. by 86 runs.

A solid team effort from the Limerick batting line up, out-played our Kerry boys. Sohaib(30) and Luqman(71) were the highlights of our run-chase and in Limericks innings Kamran picked up 3 wickets.

MCU Division 3: Oyster Oval, May 2nd

Stephen Jonnalagadda led the way, top scoring with 26 as our 3rd squad compiled a useful 155 on Saturday. The first match of 2026, on the new pitch was predictably slow; mainly thanks to young grass, which can't be cut too low, and soft ground. In the event, Harlequins batters struggled to score even more than the home boys and were ushered back into the hutch for a mere 76 runs.

Kerry 3rd XI: 155.a.o. beat Harlequins 4th XI: 76.a.o. by 79 runs.
