From her last amateur fight right here in Tralee 10 years ago, to her final fight next week, Katie Taylor journey has been nothing short of remarkable. 🇮🇪

Through the highs, the lows, the victories and the challenges, she’s remained steady, disciplined and committed to her craft. 💪

And it goes to show just how much of an impact good training, good coaching and the right team around you can have on a boxer. 🥊

🥊 Meet the Coaches - Cian 🥊

A few months ago, we introduced Cian as he took his first step on the Boxing Ireland Coaching Pathway by completing his Fundamentals Coaching Course.

After getting involved in boxing a few years ago thanks to some friends, he hasn’t looked back! He loves the fitness and exercise side of the sport, but especially the craic, friendships and community that come with being part of the club. 🥊💙

Cian is looking forward to gaining more experience before taking on the next level of his coaching journey - there’s a huge amount to learn in the world of boxing, and he’s ready for the challenge!

Having felt so welcomed from the very beginning, Cian’s advice is simple: give boxing a go! 👊

We’re delighted to have him as part of the coaching team and can’t wait to see where his coaching journey takes him!

As we get ready for a brand new season in just a few weeks, we thought it was time to take a look back at just a few of the highlights from our year so far! 🥊

From sparring days and tournaments, to seeing the progress on our new building and everything in between, there have been so many great moments and memories to look back on. 💙

We’re incredibly grateful for all the support we’ve received from everyone within the club and from our wider community. It really does make a difference!

Fair play to our competing boxers who still made it in for a pre-season training session last night even with the Rose of Tralee on 🌹🥊

While the Rose of Tralee was getting underway, our boxers were putting in the work ahead of the new season. Now that’s commitment! 💪👏

👊 Kids classes will be back in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye on the page for information on registration night.

🥊 Adults classes continue as usual every Tuesday & Thursday, 6.30pm–7.45pm.
