The building phase is the one most women skip entirely.
And it's costing them the shape, the strength, and the physique they're actually working towards.

We've been conditioned to think that losing weight is the goal. So we eat less, and the weight disappeares. And what is at the other end is not the lean body you might have envisaged. It is just a smaller body.

Here's what I've learned both from my own journey and from the women I work with:

Fat loss reveals what's already there.
Building determines what gets revealed.

If you've lost weight recently and you're looking in the mirror thinking something's still not right, this is probably why. The shape has to be built first. And building requires a completely different approach to the one you've been using. And it's not classes.

It requires:

• Enough food to actually support muscle growth
• Enough protein, consistently
• Progressive overload in your training, not just moving
• Recovery
• Months of consistency, not weeks

This is the work I did on myself before I thought about leaning out. I built first. Then the lean physique followed.

The Lean Physique Method is an 8 week programme built around exactly this: training fuelled, eating enough, and using progressive overload to build the kind of body you want to keep.

If you're ready to stop chasing the number and start building something real, DM me.

This is May 🤍

Strength, clients, sunshine and a bit of life in between

Training 3–4x a week. That's it. No living in the gym, no 6 day splits but just enough, done consistently. Strength first, always.
New clients welcomed this month 🙏 Old clients still chasing strong 💪
Four outdoor bootcamp weekends, Thursday circuits under open skies watching the sun go down. This is absolutely my favourite way to earn a living.
Handed my phone to to film my incline press and immediately regretted it 😂
An evening out with friends and my favourite drink 🥂
Harry turned 50 🥳
Half term delivered actual sunshine, beach day ticked ✅ My teen's birthday party with her crush in tow ⛳ (he said nothing all day)
I put my feet up on the last day of hot weather, got to be enjoyed properly 😎
Ended the month watching elite natural bodybuilders compete with . Still my world. Still love it.

As our hormones shift, two things start to matter more, cortisol and metabolism.

So I slow things down. Less stress. Less volume. More intention. Enough food.

This is exactly what I teach in my 8 Week Lean Physique. If any of this sounds familiar, message me.

You won’t build muscle unless you dig in.

Maybe I’m not being clear enough about this.

To build muscle, you need progressive overload.

That doesn’t mean sweating more, or feeling the "burn". It means gradually asking more from your muscles over time: more weight, more reps, more volume.

So how do you know if you’re lifting heavy enough?
Ask yourself:

Are the last few reps actually difficult?
Do you have to focus and work for them?
Are you stopping because the muscle is fatigued… or because the weight looks intimidating?

A lot of women pick the lighter dumbbells because the heavier ones feel too scary, too big, too uncomfortable. That’s usually the exact sign you should try them.

If the weights, reps, or training volume never increase, your body has no reason to change.

You’re not building. You’re maintaining.

My 8-week Physique Programme teaches women how to train with purpose and how to truly challenge their bodies. New intake open 🙌
