All sweepstake teams have now been allocated, and the full reveal is coming soon.

We didn’t quite manage to sell all 48 teams — surprising, given the 100% prize payout — but it sparked a better idea.

The remaining seven unclaimed spots have been assigned to a selection of charities, either based in our local community or organisations we’ve supported in the past.

The rules stay exactly the same. If a charity’s allocated country wins a prize, that prize will be donated directly to them.

From the Chairman

With the 2025/26 Season now complete, our attention now turns to tomorrow night’s Nene Sunday League Awards Evening at the Mercure Hotel Northampton — a special occasion that marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our league and the continued growth of Sunday football in Northamptonshire.

This evening is about more than just trophies and titles. While we’ll be celebrating our nominees, award winners, and league champions, it’s also a chance to recognise everyone who has played a part in making this season such a success.

From players, managers, and coaches to volunteers, sponsors, Northamptonshire Referees , and supporters, this event is for every person who has contributed to the Nene Sunday League throughout the year.

We can’t wait to come together and celebrate another fantastic season, reflect on some incredible achievements, and enjoy a memorable evening with the Nene Sunday League family.
