It's been a bit quiet on here whilst we've been awaiting the new engine build, but things are finally underway in preparation for the new season.

Out with the destroyed 2276 and in with a 2498cc six stud efi turbo setup.

Fingers crossed for a faster 2024! 🤞

Whilst waiting for the Goblins new engine to be built, this weekend we have been doing a bit of 20v surgery on AWD Lupo.
Bought as a roller, we are fitting a fairly stock 20VT to get the car running and then make some plans for a bigger motor at a later date.

Any name suggestions for the car? I am quite partial to 'Sponge Bob Spare Pants', but that might have to wait for the new engine build! 🤣🤣

A great start to the Bug Jam week, running the aptly named 'Desperate Measures' backup car in RWYB ahead of the VW Sportsman round.
A best run of 15.46@91mph is respectable for a totally standard 2.7 911 with only 165bhp to play with, especially when trying not to push it too hard. Now on to the weekends competition!

We are still waiting on parts before the engine build can begin, so no racing for the next couple of months.😞
It should be worth the wait though and im planning a few other upgrades beforehand!
My next outing will be at Bug Jam in the backup car! 🤞
