We are looking for a goalkeeper ready to step into our First Team environment immediately, with a game available from Tuesday and fixtures ongoing.

Our current goalkeeper is retiring, while last season’s No.1 has since progressed onto a professional contract — demonstrating the pathway available to ambitious players at the club.

Our FA Vase journey comes to an end at Lynn Road.

It was a very difficult opening 45 minutes, but there was a much stronger response from the Hunters after the break.

With Tim Jefferies coming off at half-time, striker Liam Farrar stepped up and went in goal for the entire second half. 👏🧤

The Hunters kept competing, kept working and never hid — restricting Wisbech to one further goal after the interval.

A special mention too for the Wisbech Town supporters. Knowledgeable, respectful and welcoming throughout the afternoon. Huge respect from everyone at Huntingdon Town. 🤝

Congratulations to Wisbech Town FC and we wish you every success in the next round of the competition.

Saturday’s Man of the Match against Woodford United goes to '7 Robbie Panter. 👏

Another commanding performance from Robbie — driving us forward, causing problems throughout the game and never giving the opposition a moment’s rest. 🔥

Despite the result, Robbie reflected positively on the performance, the progress being made within the group and the determination to keep working and improving.

A disappointing result for the hunters.

Lots of positives to take from today. Hard work from minute one until the final whistle. Still loads more to give.

Great defensively at times.

Looked promising on the attack with Dom wysocki, MK and Robert.

Plenty to build on. This is only the beginning.

FULL TIME | HUNTINGDON TOWN 1–4 BUCKINGHAM FC

A tough night at Kiln Park as Buckingham’s direct approach proved effective and ultimately decisive.

There were still positives for the Hunters. Tim Jefferies produced an excellent penalty save, while the players’ heads never dropped despite the scoreline.

We kept working, kept competing and kept pushing right to the end — and were rewarded with our goal.

No hiding. No excuses.

We learn, we regroup and we go again on Saturday. 🦁🔴⚫️
